India Stands United Amid West Asia Tensions; PM Modi Cracks Down on Hoarding and Black Marketing

New Delhi: In response to the escalating crisis in West Asia, Narendra Modi convened a crucial virtual meeting with Chief Ministers, calling for a united and coordinated national approach. Stressing the need for calm and discipline, the Prime Minister urged states to act with patience while remaining vigilant against misinformation campaigns attempting to exploit the situation. PM issued strict directions to curb black marketing and hoarding, warning that offenders must face firm action under close monitoring.

Highlighting the need for preparedness, Modi asked border and coastal states to stay on high alert and directed authorities to strengthen readiness in the agricultural sector. Several Chief Ministers welcomed key relief measures such as the reduction in excise duty and increased allocation of commercial LPG. Prominent leaders including Yogi Adityanath, Chandrababu Naidu, Revanth Reddy, and Bhagwant Mann participated in the meeting, along with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Home Minister Amit Shah.
