Lpg Cyclinder

Gujarat: Strengthening India’s energy infrastructure, the country’s second LPG carrier, Nanda Devi, has successfully arrived at Vadinar port in Devbhumi Dwarka district of Gujarat.

The vessel’s arrival marks a key step in enhancing the nation’s liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) supply chain. Officials have initiated preparations to transfer the LPG from Nanda Devi to a daughter ship, ensuring smooth distribution to various regions.

Sushil Kumar Singh, Chairman of the Deendayal Port Authority, confirmed that all arrangements are in place for the safe and efficient handling of the fuel.

The docking of Nanda Devi highlights India’s growing capability in managing large-scale energy imports and reinforces efforts to meet rising domestic demand for cleaner fuels.

As LPG continues to play a crucial role in households and industries, such developments are expected to significantly strengthen the country’s energy security and distribution network.
