In a heartfelt statement, Dr. Rajeev Menon described the incident as a “national tragedy” and extended his deepest condolences to the families of the victims.

The crash involved a small private or training aircraft, which went down shortly after takeoff. Emergency teams, including the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), fire services, police, and medical personnel, responded swiftly to the scene. Aviation authorities have launched a full investigation into the cause of the crash.
