Kochi: In a significant political development, Swami Himaval Maheshwara Bhadrananda has been appointed the Kerala State President of the Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha. The announcement was made by the organization’s national president, Rajyashree Chaudhary — the granddaughter of iconic freedom fighter Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.
As part of his new role, Swami Bhadrananda will oversee the appointment of office bearers across all levels — from state to ward — and has been granted full authority to select candidates for upcoming elections.
The Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha, one of India’s oldest right-wing organizations, is historically linked to the ideological roots of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh and the Sangh Parivar. The latest appointment signals a renewed push for organizational expansion and political presence in Kerala.
