Dr. Rajeev Menon, General Secretary of the National Organization Republican Party of India, congratulated the national president of the Republican Party, Ramdas Athawale, who will become a minister for the third consecutive term in the Modi cabinet. He is the Minister of State in the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India since 2016 and represents Maharashtra in Rajya Sabha, the upper house of India’s Parliament since 2014.
The NDA, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, met the President Droupadi Murmu on Friday. Constituent parties came together to the Rashtrapati Bhavan to prove majority to this government. Leaders of India also took a group photo with the President. Republican Party national president Ramdas Athawale was among those who came to meet the President.
The national leadership of the RPI party considers it a great recognition for Ramdas Athawale to become a minister for the third consecutive term in the Modi government. The Narendra Modi government has faith in the Republican Party. Apart from that, Ramdas Athawale is a person who has seen his activities in his constituency without any controversy such as trust, honesty, accuracy. The RPI leadership sees this as a great recognition for the party at the national level.
