Kannur: In a confident and forward-looking statement, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan declared that the people of the state are firmly in favor of continuity, predicting that the Left Democratic Front (LDF) will win more seats than it did in the 2021 Assembly elections.
Describing the ongoing election as a crucial moment for Kerala’s future, CM said the state is already on a strong path toward development and that the momentum must not be interrupted. “Kerala needs progress, and people know that only the LDF can deliver it,” he asserted.
After casting his vote at RC Amala School, the Chief Minister highlighted the government’s achievements across sectors and stressed that development should remain uninterrupted. CM pointed out that Kerala’s status as one of the least corrupt states in India is a result of LDF’s governance model, which, CM said, has earned public trust.
“Even our critics ultimately want development. The people clearly recognize who can take the state forward,” CM said, adding that the electorate stands firmly with the LDF.
Projecting a stronger comeback, CM emphasized that the alliance is set to surpass its previous performance. “We are with the people, and the people are with us. They want us to continue building a developed Kerala,” CM added.
Pinarayi Vijayan, contesting from Dharmadam, cast his vote early in the day along with senior leaders, reinforcing confidence within the LDF camp as Kerala heads toward a decisive verdict.
