Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala is set to witness an intense political showdown as Prime Minister Narendra Modi gears up for two high-profile visits next week to energize the election campaign. Modi’s whirlwind tour is scheduled for March 29 and April 4, signaling a major push ahead of the Assembly polls.
On March 29, Modi will headline a massive rally in Palakkad before moving to Thrissur for a vibrant roadshow later in the day. Arriving via Coimbatore, the Prime Minister will travel by helicopter to Palakkad, where tight security arrangements have already been put in place by the SPG.
The campaign momentum continues on April 4, when Modi returns to address a key rally in Pala, covering multiple constituencies including Poonjar, Kanjirappally, and Vaikom. PM will also lead a major roadshow in the state capital, Thiruvananthapuram, drawing significant public attention.
Adding to the political heat, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will campaign in Thiruvananthapuram district on March 31, with further visits planned across key constituencies such as Harippad, Tripunithura, Thalassery, and Kozhikode in early April.
The campaign trail will also see the presence of top national leaders, including J. P. Nadda, Nitin Gadkari, Rajnath Singh, S. Jaishankar, Rekha Gupta, and Devendra Fadnavis.
With back-to-back rallies, roadshows, and star-studded appearances, Kerala’s political landscape is heating up rapidly as parties pull out all stops to win voter support.
