Prime Minister Narendra Modi is gearing up for a high-profile visit to Kerala this Sunday, intensifying the NDA’s campaign for the Assembly elections with major events in Palakkad and Thrissur. The spotlight will be on Palakkad, a కీలక constituency where the BJP is aiming for a breakthrough. A massive public rally is being planned, bringing together NDA candidates from across the district, reflecting the party’s strong focus on consolidating support in the region where Modi has campaigned consistently in past elections.
The Prime Minister will later head to Thrissur to bolster the campaign of NDA candidate Padmaja Venugopal, as the party rides on renewed confidence following Suresh Gopi’s Lok Sabha success. Palakkad, considered an “A-class” constituency by the BJP, will see senior leader Shobha Surendran leading the charge. With a strong 35% vote share in 2021 and a narrow loss margin of just 3,859 votes by E. Sreedharan against Shafi Parambil, the party is now making an aggressive bid to turn the tide in its favour.
