PM Narendra Modi in Kochi Today: NDA Campaign Kick-off, Roadshow and ₹10,000 Crore Projects Launch

Kochi: Narendra Modi will visit Kochi today to launch the NDA’s election campaign in Kerala, with a series of high-profile events including a roadshow, a major political convention, and the inauguration of large development projects.

The Prime Minister is scheduled to land at Cochin International Airport at 11:30 AM. From there, PM will travel to the Naval Base and proceed by road to Marine Drive Kochi.

PM first event will be attending the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the Dheevera Sabha at Marine Drive. Soon after, at 12:00 PM, Modi will begin a roadshow from the entrance of Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium in Kaloor, where the NDA election convention will be held.

The campaign launch is expected to witness the participation of around 50,000 party workers from Ernakulam and Thrissur districts. Leaders and activists from nearly 12 NDA constituent parties, including Bharatiya Dharma Jana Sena, Twenty20 Kizhakkambalam and Nationalist Kerala Congress, will also attend along with several central leaders.

At 12:30 PM, Modi will participate in an official government function where PM will inaugurate development projects worth nearly ₹10,000 crore, including key railway initiatives.

Later, at around 1:00 PM, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the NDA Kerala election rally at a second stage set up in the stadium complex. The event is expected to mark the formal start of the NDA’s campaign for the Kerala Assembly elections, and important political announcements may also be made.

After completing his programmes in Kochi, the Prime Minister will leave at 2:30 PM for Tiruchirappalli in Tamil Nadu.
