Thrissur: The Republican Party of India (RPI) has voiced strong backing for BJP Kerala state president Rajeev Chandrasekhar, dismissing the ongoing allegations against him as politically motivated attempts to tarnish his image.
“These charges are purely political, not personal. The RPI stands firmly with Rajeev Chandrasekhar and the BJP leadership,” stated Dr. Rajeev Menon, Secretary General of the RPI.
Dr. Rajeev Menon claimed that the controversy was deliberately fabricated to divert public attention from the gold concealment issues connected to Sabarimala and Guruvayur, calling it a “calculated political distraction.”
Dr. Rajeev Menon further remarked that the wave of accusations only reflects the BJP’s growing influence in Kerala under Rajeev Chandrasekhar’s dynamic leadership.
“The RPI will confront these politically motivated attacks head-on,” Dr. Rajeev Menon affirmed, underscoring the party’s unwavering solidarity with the BJP chief.
