Sivagiri: A momentous occasion awaits Kerala as President Droupadi Murmu will inaugurate the centenary celebrations of Sree Narayana Guru’s Mahasamadhi on October 23 at 12:50 p.m. at the Sivagiri Mutt, marking the beginning of a two-year-long spiritual and cultural commemoration.
The grand celebration aims to spread Gurudeva’s universal message of “One Caste, One Religion, One God for Humanity” across the globe, through a series of spiritual discourses, cultural programs, and educational initiatives led by Sivagiri Mutt.
Organized with the support of the Government of India and the Government of Kerala, the centenary observance brings together a wide network of Sree Narayana organizations, including the Sree Narayana Gurukulam, SNDP Yogam, Gurudharma Pracharana Sabha, Sree Narayana Cultural Society, temples, and local movements.
Plans for the historic event were first outlined during the 98th Mahasamadhi Day observance, and preparations are now in full swing for the grand inauguration.
As Sivagiri gears up for the occasion, devotees and followers from around the world are expected to gather to pay homage to the revered social reformer and spiritual visionary — Sree Narayana Guru, whose teachings continue to illuminate lives a century after his Mahasamadhi.
