The Republican Party of India (RPI) has hailed the United Democratic Front’s (UDF) resounding victory in the Nilambur Assembly by-election as a clear sign of public trust and political change. RPI Secretary General Dr. Rajeev Menon extended warm congratulations to Aryadan Shoukath, calling his win “a reflection of the people’s aspirations and confidence in leadership.”

“This is not just a personal win—it’s a resounding endorsement of Shoukath’s vision and his deep connection with the people,” Dr.Rajeev Menon said in a statement. Dr.Rajeev Menon also emphasized that the result “exposes the failure of LDF governance and serves as a strong warning to the ruling front ahead of upcoming elections.”

Political analysts view the Nilambur verdict as a potential game-changer in Kerala politics, with the UDF reclaiming momentum in a region where the LDF had been gaining ground.

The RPI reaffirmed its commitment to building a strong National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Kerala ahead of the 2026 Assembly elections.

RPI Secretary General Dr. Rajeev Menon congratulated UDF candidate Aryadan Shoukath on his impressive win, calling it “a reflection of the people’s aspirations and confidence in democratic leadership.” He emphasized that the result was not just a personal triumph for Shoukath but a broader mandate for change in Kerala politics.

“This is a clear rejection of the LDF’s governance. The Nilambur verdict stands as a strong warning to the ruling front,” Dr. Menon said in a statement.

At the same time,Dr. Rajeev Menon outlined RPI’s strategic vision for the future of Kerala, stating that the party would play a decisive role in strengthening the NDA across the state. “The time has come for a political shift in Kerala. Our goal is clear: to bring NDA to power in 2027 by defeating both the LDF and UDF,” Dr. Rajeev Menon declared.

Highlighting the RPI’s organizational presence in all 14 districts, Dr. Rajeev Menonannounced that the party would intensify its grassroots activities and closely coordinate with the BJP in the upcoming three-tier panchayat elections.

“Just as NDA governs India, we believe Kerala too should experience the benefits of NDA governance. All our efforts are now focused on ensuring a sweeping victory for the NDA in the local body polls,” Dr. Rajeev Menon said.

With the twin messages of congratulating the UDF and preparing for a strong NDA campaign, Dr. Rajeev Menon’s remarks underscore a dynamic shift in Kerala’s political narrative, positioning the RPI as a key player in shaping the state’s future.
