Hindu Mahasabha Slams BJP for “Betrayal” in Nilambur, Vows to Field Own Candidate

Bhadraanand

Nilambur, Malappuram: In a fiery rebuke to the BJP’s inaction, Swami Bhadranand, State President of the Akhila Bharat Hindu Mahasabha, accused the party of betraying its core Hindu base by failing to announce a candidate in the communally sensitive Nilambur constituency—dubbed the “nerve center” of Islamic influence in Kerala.

As other political coalitions unveil their nominees, BJP’s silence has sparked outrage among grassroots Hindu workers and Sangh supporters. “Sanatanis and devout activists who once carried the movement in Nilambur feel abandoned,” Swami Bhadranand remarked.

The Hindu Mahasabha, sensing growing unrest among the local Hindu population, condemned the BJP for sidelining ideology in favor of political appeasement. “Hindu votes are not bargaining chips. This compromise is a betrayal of those who believed in the party’s dharmic mission,” he declared.

Bhadranand further accused BJP leaders of prioritizing personal and political gains over spiritual and national values. “This is no longer a party of principles—it’s become a platform to ‘fill the bellies’ of self-serving leaders,” he alleged.

In a bold move, the Hindu Mahasabha announced plans to field its own candidate in Nilambur. “Elections are not just about power—they are about purpose. If BJP won’t stand for Hindutva, we will,” the organization stated.

The escalating discontent could lead to a serious rift within the Hindutva camp in Malappuram. “The fight for Sanatani pride is only beginning,” Swami Bhadranand warned, signaling a dramatic shift in right-wing politics in Kerala.
