Thiruvananthapuram: Rashtriya Janata Dal State Committee Member and Lohia Karma Samiti National President Mannanam Suresh has strongly condemned the mental harassment and character assassination of Bindu by the Peroorkada police, calling it a shameful episode that tarnishes Kerala’s civil values.
He criticized the police for acting on a false theft complaint and urged the government to initiate strict disciplinary action against the officers involved, stating that such misconduct brings disgrace to the Left Democratic Front.
Suresh also raised concerns over alleged conspiracies targeting “Vedan,” a cultural icon among Kerala’s youth. Highlighting the increasing public participation, especially from youth and women, in Vedan’s music nights, he called for heightened intelligence vigilance to ensure public safety and smooth conduct of such events.
