Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala General Education Department has taken legal action against a YouTuber accused of urging students to miss school, raising concerns about the impact of such content on academic discipline and attendance.

Education Minister V. Sivankutty strongly condemned the act, stressing that attendance is mandatory, especially for exams. He warned against misleading students and disrupting the education system, reaffirming the government’s commitment to maintaining academic integrity.

The department has also cautioned parents and students to be vigilant against misleading online content. Authorities are now considering further measures to curb such influences and ensure a structured learning environment.
