Dr. Menon assured that the national leadership of the Republican Party would coordinate all forms of emergency aid. He communicated with RPI State Organization General Secretary R.C. Rajeevdas, pledging full cooperation from the national leadership.
Dr. Rajeev Menon informed RPI National President Ramdas Athawale about the severe landslide disaster and rescue operations. Minister Athawale assured all possible interventions under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. Dr. Rajeev Menon also sent a message to the Prime Minister, requesting immediate intervention, rapid response forces, and central forces. Additionally, he urged for helicopter assistance for rescue operations.
Dr. Rajeev Menon noted that the disaster in Meppadi Mundakkai, Wayanad, is unprecedented, with many still missing and some areas isolated. Efforts are being coordinated to provide aid. He highlighted the severity of the situation and the difficulty in reaching some areas. The party’s emergency meeting in Delhi is overseeing coordination efforts.
The heavy rains in Wayanad have caused significant damage. Dr. Rajeev Menon expressed his condolences to the families of the deceased and assured all possible support for rescue operations. He affirmed that all rescue efforts would be coordinated to the fullest extent.
