A tragic road accident near Mysuru claimed the lives of four Malayali passengers when a private sleeper bus traveling from Kozhikode to Bengaluru crashed in the early hours of the morning. The bus reportedly hit a divider and overturned on the Bengaluru–Mysuru Expressway near Channapatna taluk. The deceased have been identified as Mohammed Farhan from Koyilandy, Sulfikar from Mahe, and Bengaluru-based workers Zakir and Rasheed.
Several passengers sustained injuries in the accident, with some reported to be in serious condition and undergoing treatment at nearby hospitals. Preliminary findings suggest that driver fatigue may have caused the mishap, as the bus lost control before crashing. The impact left the front portion of the vehicle completely mangled, highlighting the severity of the collision, while authorities continue their investigation into the incident.
