Indian Soldier Martyred in Pakistani Shelling Along LoC

Srinagar: An Indian Army soldier was martyred in a shelling attack by Pakistani forces along the Line of Control (LoC) in Kashmir. The soldier has been identified as Murali Naik, a 27-year-old native of Sathya Sai district in Andhra Pradesh.

Murali had been posted to the border area just a week ago, given the sensitive conditions along the LoC. He sustained critical injuries during the firing and succumbed to his wounds while being rushed to the hospital.
